It has been crazy around here. I am very distracted by life. My husband has had two fires for two weeks each fire. That does not mean fire season is over as many fires exist in California, Oregon, and Washington. According to Watch Duty Today there are 8 currently in California. Oregon has 19, and Washington has 15 from my counting. California tries to put out fires more than other states. Some of the states are not aggressive in fighting them. Many fires in California are on land that has burned in the last 3 years. That does make it easier to put them out. That helps the fires as the vegetation is less than in areas having much.
At this point, we have a few weeks with a heat wave. The temperatures are at least 5 more than usual. I do hope it does not last long. This heat makes it seem that the snow would feel better. I want to take my clothes off and swim but no pools nearby.
